Laser Grading

We use laser guided machine-controlled equipment to do most of our grading on projects. That means that our equipment is automatically adjusted by laser to keep a precise grade on surfaces we are working on. The human element of our grading is to blend into control points (existing edges ie. hard surfaces or turf), drive the tractor, and monitor the equipment’s function.
Although GPS technology is improving quickly it is still not quite as precise as laser guidance.
Our goal is for finish grades to have less than ½” (half inch) of deviation in planarity over the slope we are grading. That provides the best water movement and ball roll while improving player confidence, and safety.
The same equipment can be used on all types of sports facilities for a beautiful finish grade.
